"Epic, haunting, and brimming with slow-burn romance, Visionbound plunges readers into a post-apocalyptic world where fated mates, eerie visions, and the search for sanctuary collide in a gripping tale of love and survival — perfect for fans of The 100 and The Hunger Games."
I was hooked from the very beginning—those first three chapters pulled me in fast! The world-building, though brief, was incredibly engaging and gave me just enough to feel immersed without slowing the pace.
What really kept me turning pages, though, was the banter—so much witty, flirty back-and-forth between the love interests that I found myself grinning like an idiot. I absolutely love when a main character is confident but also goofy, and Noel hit that balance perfectly. She felt real and refreshing.
And the ending? That cliffhanger was chef’s kiss—I’m already counting down the days until the next book.
Side note: I may or may not have developed a massive crush on Noel’s brother. No regrets.
Visionbound's vivid storytelling, engaging characters, and emotional depth is a great start to this new novel series. Combining sci-fi, post-apocalyptic themes, space travel, and a hint of romance, it manages to balance intensity with charm and humor. With a cliffhanger ending and mysterious prologue, I am eagerly awaiting the sequel!
This book had me at the prologue. Intriguing world building. Believable characters, I also loved the added humor. I really enjoyed the post apocalyptic/sci-fi vibes, definitely kept me guessing. Can't wait to see what's next for this author!
I didn’t know what to expect when I picked up Visionbound… but once I got into it, I couldn’t put it down. The story threads real-world parallels into a futuristic setting, with just the right mix of playful dialogue and mysterious twists to keep me constantly guessing.
The world-building is intense in the best way. The idea of a post-apocalyptic Earth ruined by AI feels eerily relevant, but the transition into space travel blew my mind. The author weaves in subtle mythological references that hint at deeper layers—I'm really curious to see how those unfold in future books.
Noelia is a fantastic lead—full of sass, spirit, and grace. She's fiercely independent, but her emotional vulnerability in romantic relationships adds depth. I’m not totally sold on her love interest yet (no spoilers), but I’m willing to trust the journey and see where it leads.
There’s a slow-burn tension with the dark, brooding Captain that has me conflicted—in the best way. He’s layered and clearly haunted by a rough past. I’m hoping for a breakthrough moment with him soon.
The side characters are just as engaging. I’m fully invested in Mateo and Jennie’s subplot—can they please just have their moment already?!
The only thing that left me scratching my head was the prologue. I kept waiting for a clear connection to the main story. I’m guessing it’ll tie in more clearly as the series continues.
Overall, Visionbound hooked me with its originality and heart. I’m eagerly awaiting Book 2—I need answers and more of this wild Martian adventure!
