M. Alane Vespera is an artist, teacher, mother, and nature enthusiast. Originally from the East Coast, she holds a bachelor’s degree in fine art and a master’s in art education. Her creative journey has spanned painting, wheel-thrown pottery, fiber arts, alternative process photography, and printmaking—now culminating in her passion for storytelling. For the past two years, she has been completely immersed in Greek mythology retellings and Romantasy novels, rarely seen without a book in hand. When she’s not writing, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and exploring the lush flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest. M. Alane Vespera lives riverside with her husband, two sons, two goofy German Shepherds who fancy themselves as valiant nobles, a sassy Russian Blue cat with attitude to spare, and a flock of whimsical chickens who cluck secrets only the wind understands.
